Senior Management Team



Gray Hall

Mr. Hall is President and Chief Executive Officer of VeriCenter and is a member of the Board of Directors. His technology industry experience includes several years with IBM, where he led the formation of the IBM Center for Scalable Computing Solutions. This Center, funded jointly by IBM and DARPA, was an early prototype of application hosting services and the application service provider (ASP) model. Prior to co-founding Broadband Ventures Partners, Mr. Hall held positions as Director of Technology Management & Funding, L.P., of Princeton, NJ; and as Program Manager at the U.S. Department of Energy, where he led the formation of the DOE Distributed Computing Center, another early center for application hosting and delivery over the Internet. Mr. Hall earned a Bachelor of Business Administration degree from Southern Methodist University and a Master of Business Administration degree from the University of Texas at Austin. Mr. Hall is a Principal with Broadband Venture Partners, LLC, and is currently a member of the Board of Directors of Picasso Software, Inc., and Cynergy System Design, Inc.

Eric Mattson

Mr. Mattson is a Senior Vice President and the Chief Financial Officer of VeriCenter. He has more than 29 years of corporate finance experience, including 19 years at Baker Hughes, Inc., a leading NYSE energy services company. While at Baker Hughes, Mr. Mattson served as SVP and CFO and was responsible for financial operations, investor relations, and merger and acquisition-related activity. In the latter arena, he was responsible for acquisitions and divestitures aggregating in excess of $8 billion and more than $3 billion of debt and equity financing transactions. Mr. Mattson also served as Executive Vice President and CFO of NetRail, Inc., a Tier 1 Internet transit provider based in Atlanta, where he successfully raised $75 million in initial venture capital backing.  Mr. Mattson has served on the board of directors of several NYSE companies and is currently on the Board of National Oilwell Varco Inc., a leading energy services company.

David Colesante

Mr. Colesante is a Senior Vice President and the Chief Technology Officer for VeriCenter. He oversees the design, implementation, and maintenance of operational infrastructures and technical support systems. Before joining the company, Mr. Colesante was cofounder and Executive Vice President of Technical Services at Jones Business Systems, Inc., where he was responsible for creating the operational infrastructure that enabled JBS to grow from a start-up to a company with $68 million in revenues. While at JBS, Mr. Colesante also served as Chief Operating Officer.

Prior to his position with Jones Business Systems, Mr. Colesante was Director of UNIX Support Services at WPDS/Microware Distributors in Beaverton, Oregon. There, he was responsible for technical pre-sales support, technical telephone support, systems integration, and onsite support services. Previously, Mr. Colesante had been Technical Support & Integration Manager for Western Pacific Data Systems in Plano, Texas, where he also served in the capacities of Product Manager and Senior Support Analyst. Mr. Colesante holds a Bachelor's Degree in Math and Computer Science from the State University of New York.

Steve Lesem

Mr. Lesem is Senior Vice President and Chief Marketing Officer of VeriCenter. Mr. Lesem has over 25 years of marketing and sales experience. Prior to joining VeriCenter he was Senior Vice President of worldwide sales for SafeNet, a Maryland based security technology firm. At BMC Software, a Houston based systems management software solution provider, Lesem served in a variety of capacities, including a VP role in Asia Pacific business development and channel programs, VP of Americas Marketing, and VP of Sales and Marketing for BMC's Security Business Unit. Prior to BMC, Lesem held multiple sales and marketing positions at IBM including General Manager, PC Server Sales and Marketing for North America. Mr. Lesem earned a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from the University of Texas at Austin.

Mike Sullivan

Mr. Sullivan is VeriCenter’s Senior Vice President of Product Solutions. Prior to joining the company, he was a General Manager for Microsoft Corporation, where he oversaw eighty-nine sales and consulting employees and was responsible for $230 million in annual revenue. In other positions at Microsoft, Mr. Sullivan served as Enterprise Accounts Sales Manager, Business Solutions Group Manager, and Consulting Services Manager.

Prior to working for Microsoft, Mr. Sullivan was Vice President of Application Development for NationsBank, where he was responsible for software application strategy, development, and deployment. Before joining NationsBank, he was a Consulting Manager with PricewaterhouseCoopers. Mr. Sullivan , earned both a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science and a Master of Business Administration degree at Southern Methodist University.

Tom Veronie

Mr. Veronie is VeriCenter’s Senior Vice President of Data Center Operations, and in that role, oversees the management and operations of the company’s nationwide data centers. Mr. Veronie was previously with Browning-Ferris Industries (BFI), where he was responsible for Telecommunications and Equipment Services, including the management of telecommunications voice and data network environments, central and distributed voice systems design and implementation, WAN and LAN design, engineering, implementation, support, capacity planning, and performance monitoring and computer equipment acquisition services. While at BFI, Mr. Veronie served as Project Leader for the design, construction, and management of the BFI Corporate Data Center, and was Project Director for a multi-million dollar client/server infrastructure deployment to 450 remote locations in support of an SAP/R3 implementation. Prior to his roles at BFI, Mr. Veronie held technical management positions with Union Texas Petroleum and Occidental Petroleum Services, Inc.

Bart Davis

Mr. Davis, Vice President of Sales, is responsible for business development of VeriCenter’s IT outsourcing services and solutions. His strong sales and operational leadership have helped to establish VeriCenter as a leading IT infrastructure and managed services provider. During his tenure at VeriCenter, Mr. Davis has supported a three-year growth rate of 626 percent, and in 2006 revenues were more than $63 million. Mr. Davis has managed high-growth, high-performing sales organizations for many years and has previously held senior positions with Cisco Systems and Xerox.

Kimberly Bowron

Mrs. Bowron is Vice President of Human Resources and is responsible for all companywide facets of human resource management activities. Prior to joining the company, Mrs. Bowron was Principal Owner of Human Capital Consulting after serving as Senior Vice President of Corporate Services at Clear Channel Entertainment. Mrs. Bowron also served as leadership consultant for Honeywell and was the director of human resources for both Triconex and Midcom Corporation in California.

Mrs. Bowron received her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from California State University, Fullerton and her Master of Arts in Industrial Organizational Psychology from California State University, Long Beach. Mrs. Bowron additionally attended the Anderson School of Management at the University of California, Los Angeles where she fulfilled the Advanced Program in Human Resource Management. She has served on the Board of Directors for Communities In Schools - Houston.
